The Process.
We first clean all cracks with pressurized air. Vegetation and other impediments to crack sealing are cleared with a grazing wheel or, in cases of extreme vegetation, a Taffa torch. Cracks are sealed using hot-applied rubberized joint sealant that exceeds Federal specifications. A light aggregate material is finally added to the hot rubber to improve adhesion to the pavement surface.
